San Juan Bay is the main entrance adjacent to Old San Juan in northeastern Puerto Rico. Approximately 5.6 kilometers in length, most of the body is an estuary of approximately 97 square miles filled with channels, inlet and eight interconnected lagoons. San Juan Bay is home to the island’s busiest port, dating back in history to 1508.
