Safety Rules to Remember Before You Hit the Water
1. Must wear a Coast Guard Approved personal flotation device (with a whistle) provided by Daring Water Sports, while near the PWC and riding the PWC.
2. Always drive in a straight line on behind the other, following the tour guide at all times.
3. Do not drive out of the line.
4. No phones while driving.
5. No swerving while riding (Driving the watercraft left to right continuously).
6. While riding fast keep a minimum distance of 50 feet from the jet ski in front and the jet ski in the rear and any jet ski on the sides. This rule applies to any solid object in the water. Be sure to operate in a smart and controlled manner. If anything goes wrong, you’ll still know how to manage the situation.
7. If for any reason you can’t keep going at the tour, let the guide know immediately.
8. Be aware of the evironment around you so you can avoid collisions, injuries and other dangerous situations.
9. If intoxicated by any substance that affects your ability to ride, you are not going to be allowed to take the tour in such condition. You can put yourself and others in a dangerous situation, especially if you could no longer effectively control the PWC.
10. If for any you fall off the water craft, keep calm, remember you are wearing a flotation device. Steadily climb form the back of the PWC. Never climb from the sides as you can tip it over and it could sink the PWC.
Please note that in order to participate in any Sea Escapade PR activity, a participant must be at least 8 years old.
• Identification is required and credit card for deposit.
• No one under the age of 18 can drive a jet ski! PUERTO RICO Law requires a life jacket be worn while operating a PWC (Jet Ski), which will be provided and must be worn at all times while underway! Individual guest weight must not exceed 250 lbs and combined weight on a single jet ski shall not exceed 350 lbs.
• Must be 18 and up to drive or Rent ID and credit card. You can double up or ride single, either way you will have the best jet ski experience out of all of Puerto Rico!
Cancelation policy
• Just Sea Escapade PR can cancel any event due to bad weather or any conditions.
• A rainy day is not a reason for cancelation.
• Any cancelation must be at least 48 hours in advance. Any change or request must be done via email or text.
• In Puerto Rico to ensure safety for our guest the law allows jet ski rental operators to ride on a designated area only within our and boundaries.
WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
I certify that I am adult (18 or older). That in consideration of being allowed to participate in water recreation activities, included but not limited to Power motors craft, like sea doo, jet ski or banana boat, I agree to the following waiver and release and make the following representation:
1. I acknowledge and fully understand the inherent extreme risk involved in water sport activities.
2. I realized that those risk include, but are not limit to; any injury incurred while exiting, entering, or being within or around the Power motor craft.
3. I acknowledge and fully understand that I will be engaging in activities that may involve risk of serious injury, including permanent disability, death, and severe social and economic loss which might result not only for actions, inactions, and negligence of others, or condition of the premises or of any equipment being used.
4. I acknowledge that the above list is not inclusive of all possible risk associated with water recreational activities and I agree that said list is in no way limits the extent or reach of this release.
5. I voluntarily assume all such risk with full acknowledge and appreciation of the danger and risk involved.
6. I voluntarily agree to assume all risk of personal injury, including paralysis and death, wish may occur while I am with the Sea Escapade PR Personnel.
7. I hereby knowingly and intentionally waive and release, and agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend Sea Escapade PR, its successors, officers, employees, and all equipment designers and manufacturers, lessors, and agents from all liability for any such danger, injury, paralysis, or death which may result from this activity.
8. This release shall be effective even though said loss, damage or injury results or has resulted from negligence, wrongful acts, omissions, breach of warranty or strict tort liability of Sea Escapade PR or other parties released.
9. I declare, I am in good health condition and have no physical/mental limitations, which would affect my performance in any and all activities provided through Sea Escapade PR.
10. I agree to wear and approved life jacket fastened at all times while in the PWC or banana boat.
11. I agree to pay attention to the state of any ropes, handles, bindings, PWC, life jackets, and any and all equipment that I use; and to advise staff members if I do any damage or notice any damage.
12. I agree to pay for any damage done to the property of Sea Escapade PR.
13. I certify I understand the rules contained in this document and any verbal instruction.
14. I agree to abide the rules and instruction received from Sea Escapade PR personnel.
15. In the event that I suffer any injury whatsoever while with Sea Escapade PR, I agree to notify an employee of Sea Escapade PR immediately.
16. I am legally competent to sign this agreement.
17. This release shall be effective and binding upon me and assigns, representatives, executors and administrators.
18. I as parent or guardian of give my concern and permission to participate in the PWC TOUR or ride done by Sea Escapade PR, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sea Escapade PR and other realized parties.
19. I assume all responsibility for any damage to any equipment or property of Sea Escapade PR.
20. The amount to be paid for any damage doesn’t limit to the money on hold to assure the care of the equipment provided.
